The two units were completed and put into operation on April 13 and June 30, 2014 respectively. It took only 16.5 months for unit 1 to be put into operation for power generation, setting a new record for the construction period of 350wm units in severe cold areas (the benchmark construction period of 300WM units in severe cold areas is 18 months). Unit 2 only takes 23 days from boiler ignition to the end of 168 hour trial operation, which is at the advanced level in China.
